Usher broke down into tears while bidding funeral to his longtime drummer friend, Aaron Spears. Grammy-winning musician’s life and memory were honored following his friend untimely death.

Usher weeps while crediting Spears as an “amazing force” at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden Worship Center last week in Maryland. He also thanked his Musical Director Valdez Brantley for introducing and bringing them together.

American singer, Usher posted a post on instagram following his friend death saying “I cry, tears of joy, looking back at all of the memories we had together, I realize that you were the joy in every room you were in. We should not take life for granted or the people we love most as though they’re gonna be there forever.”

Usher also mentioned that “Aaron was one of my hero’s. He motivated me to do more, musically. The drum rolls and that pocket was like none other.”

He declared Aaron to be one of his heroes and concluded by saying, “I cry these tears of joy daily, wishing I could pick up the phone and hear your voice one last time. We always said I love you before hangin’ up. I’m gonna miss you, man!!” in his instagram post.

Aaron death was announced by his wife on Oct 30 on Insta. And alongside Usher, the likes of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande left heartbreaking tributes.

Aaron was 47 at the time of his death and his cause of death is still unknown till now.
