As per CNN, Rajah Caruth made history in Las Vegas by becoming the third Black driver to secure a victory in a NASCAR national series race. Rajah joined the ranks of Hall of Famers Wendell Scott and Bubba Wallace by winning a NASCAR national series race.

Caruth clinched his first career truck series win, triumphing in the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200, starting from the pole position at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“It’s surreal,” Rajah said in his post-race interview. “Glad to get win for team Chevy, can’t thank my family enough. So many people helped me to get to this point. I can’t believe it” he added.

In the end, Caruth secured the victory, finishing 0.851 seconds ahead of the second-placed Tyler Ankrum, who was making a rapid advance in the race’s final stages.

NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (2020-2021):

In 2020, Caruth joined the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. His journey in this series saw a highlight as he got late model victory at Greenville-Pickens Speedway. In that season, Caruth’s performance was very good, securing three top-five finishes and nine top-ten finishes in a total of 19 late model starts.

ARCA Menards Series (2021-2022):

In February 2021, Caruth shared that he would be racing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East with Rev Racing. Even though he was a rookie (a newcomer), he did really well. By the end of the season, he got two top-five finishes and three top-ten finishes. That impressive performance earned him the third spot in the standings.

NASCAR Xfinity & Camping World Truck Series (2022-2023):

In 2022, Caruth started racing in the Xfinity Series with Alpha Prime Racing. Even though he had some difficulties, he did pretty well. He got his first finish in the top 20 at Las Vegas and reached his best-ever finish of 12th at Martinsville.
